Inventory Counter

The Inventory Counter feature helps create urgency and scarcity by displaying stock availability directly on your WooCommerce product pages.

When customers see that inventory is running low, they are more likely to make a purchase before the product becomes unavailable.

Inventory Counters are one of the most effective conversion optimization tools for WooCommerce stores because they create a Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) effect.

What is an Inventory Counter?

An Inventory Counter displays stock information such as:

  • Available stock quantity
  • Remaining inventory
  • Products sold
  • Inventory progress bars
  • Low stock warnings
  • Scarcity messages

Example:

Only 5 items left in stock

or

🔥 Selling Fast! Only 3 remaining

or

Stock Remaining: 12/100

Enable Inventory Counter

This setting controls whether the inventory counter is displayed.

Enabled

The inventory counter becomes active when the campaign conditions match.

Customers will see stock information on eligible products.

Disabled

The inventory counter will not be displayed.

Other campaign elements such as timers and discounts may continue working.

Inventory Source

The Inventory Source determines where DealPulse gets stock information.

Available sources:

  • WooCommerce Stock
  • Custom Inventory

WooCommerce Stock

DealPulse reads inventory directly from WooCommerce product stock.

This is the recommended option for most stores.

Example

WooCommerce Stock Quantity:

25

Inventory Counter:

Only 25 items remaining

Whenever WooCommerce stock changes, the inventory counter updates automatically.

Best For

  • Physical products
  • Stores using inventory management
  • Accurate stock tracking

Custom Inventory

Custom Inventory allows you to define your own stock values.

The displayed inventory does not depend on WooCommerce stock.

Example

WooCommerce Stock:

500

Custom Inventory:

20

Inventory Counter Displays:

Only 20 remaining

Best For

  • Marketing campaigns
  • Product launches
  • Scarcity campaigns
  • Limited edition offers
