Dynamic Discounts

The Campaign Schedule section controls when a campaign becomes active and when it stops running.

Scheduling allows you to automate promotions without manually enabling or disabling campaigns.

You can use scheduling for:

  • Flash sales
  • Weekend promotions
  • Holiday campaigns
  • Daily offers
  • Evergreen funnels
  • Product launches
  • Seasonal discounts

Schedule Status

The Schedule Status determines whether the scheduling system is enabled for the campaign.

Enabled

When enabled, DealPulse checks all scheduling rules before displaying the campaign.

The campaign will only appear when the configured schedule conditions are met.

Disabled

When disabled, scheduling rules are ignored.

The campaign will remain active as long as the campaign itself is published and all targeting rules match.

Schedule Type

The Schedule Type determines how the campaign timing is managed.

Available schedule types include:

  • One-Time
  • Recurring (Pro)
  • Evergreen (Pro)
  • Cart discount (Pro)

Each schedule type behaves differently.

One-Time Schedule

A One-Time Schedule runs only once between a specific start date and end date.

This is the most common scheduling method.

Example

Black Friday Sale

Start Date:
November 25, 2026

End Date:
November 30, 2026

The campaign automatically activates on November 25 and automatically expires on November 30.

Best Uses

  • Flash sales
  • Holiday promotions
  • Product launches
  • Limited-time discounts

Start Date

The Start Date defines when the campaign becomes active.

Before the start date:

  • Timer will not display
  • Discounts will not apply
  • Inventory counters will not appear
  • Sticky bars will remain hidden

Example

Start Date:
July 20, 2026

Current Date:
July 18, 2026

Result:

Campaign remains inactive until July 20.

Start Time

The Start Time defines the exact time the campaign begins.

Example

Start Date:
July 20

Start Time:
09:00 AM

The campaign activates at exactly 09:00 AM.

Why Use It?

Useful when launching promotions at a specific time.

Examples:

  • Midnight launches
  • Weekend sales
  • New product releases

End Date

The End Date defines when the campaign stops running.

Once the end date is reached:

  • Timers stop
  • Discounts are removed
  • Campaign becomes inactive

Example

End Date:
July 31

After July 31:

Campaign is no longer displayed.

End Time

The End Time determines the exact time the campaign expires.

Example

End Date:
July 31

End Time:
11:59 PM

Campaign remains active until 11:59 PM.

Timezone

Timezone controls how DealPulse calculates campaign dates and times.

Recommended:

Use the same timezone configured in WordPress ( store time Zone ).

Example

WordPress Timezone:
America/New_York

Campaign Start:
9:00 AM

Visitors see the campaign based on the configured store timezone.

Recurring Schedule

Recurring schedules automatically repeat according to a pattern.

Unlike one-time campaigns, recurring campaigns never permanently expire.

They automatically restart according to the configured rules.

Recurring Frequency

Defines how often the campaign repeats.

Common options include:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly

Daily Recurring

Runs every day.

Example

Start Time:
9:00 AM

End Time:
6:00 PM

Result:

Campaign automatically activates every day between 9 AM and 6 PM.

Weekly Recurring

Runs on selected days every week.

Example

  • Friday
  • Saturday
  • Sunday

Result:

Best Uses

  • Weekend sales
  • Weekly promotions
  • Weekly inventory clearance

Monthly Recurring

Runs on selected dates each month.

Example

Day:

  • Subscription offers
  • Membership campaigns

Day of Week

Allows campaigns to run only on specific days.

Available options:

  • Monday
  • Tuesday
  • Wednesday
  • Thursday
  • Friday
  • Saturday
  • Sunday

Multiple days can be selected.

Example

Selected Days:

  • Monday
  • Wednesday
  • Friday

Campaign appears only on those days.

Daily Start Time

Defines when the recurring campaign starts each day.

Example

9:00 AM

Campaign activates every day at 9:00 AM.

Daily End Time

Defines when the recurring campaign stops each day.

Example

6:00 PM

Campaign automatically stops at 6:00 PM.

Evergreen Schedule (Pro)

Evergreen campaigns create a unique deadline for each visitor.

Unlike fixed schedules, every customer receives their own countdown.

Duration

Duration defines how long the campaign remains active for each visitor.

Examples:

  • 24 Hours
  • 48 Hours
  • 72 Hours
  • 7 Days
  • 14 Days

Example

Visitor arrives:

July 1

Duration:

72 Hours

Expiration:

July 4

A different visitor arriving on July 5 receives a new expiration date.

Trigger Event

The Trigger Event determines when the evergreen timer starts.

Common trigger events include:

  • First Visit
  • Product Visit
  • Landing Page Visit
  • Add to Cart
  • User Registration

Example

Trigger:
First Visit

The timer starts when the visitor first enters the website.

Expiration Action

Determines what happens when an evergreen timer reaches zero.

Available actions may include:

  • Hide Campaign
  • Hide Timer
  • Disable Discount
  • Show Expired Message
  • Redirect Visitor

Example

Expiration Action:
Disable Discount

The timer remains visible but discounts stop applying.

Schedule Preview

The Schedule Preview displays how the campaign timing will behave.

Use it to verify:

  • Start dates
